Resumen

The article describes the conceptions of digital competences in the teaching of educational institutions. The objective was to describe the conceptions, characteristics and importance of digital competences in teaching performance. Information was collected from journals indexed in the Scielo, Scopus database, comprised between the periods of years 2001 to 2020. A theoretical review of articles and secondary sources was carried out, under the methodology of systematic review of articles found in the databases whose results show that digital skills have an impact on the performance of teachers in Peru.
