Resumen
The present investigation examined, through a literature review, the effects of traditional dance on cultural identity in the Educational Institution "La Perla". Similarly, it was investigated in Scopus, Scielo, Google Scholar, Sciencedirect, Web of Science; reaching a result using the Prism analysis method and with the respective assigned protocols. The search of numerous scientific articles carried out in databases and search engines yielded 84 articles from the last 6 years: Scopus 31; Redalyc 26; Scielo 14 and Web of Science 13. In addition, the search highlighted that cultural identity is a set of belonging values that the individual acquires within their context, making use of the cultural characteristics and traits that allow them to function in society.
