Resumen
Cognitive skills for learning science and mathematics-based technologies are enhanced by the use of educational software implemented for solving mathematics and algebra problems in real situations, the development of critical thinking, among other applications. This currently represents a challenge for educational systems in general (levels and modalities), due to the consequent immediacy of technological evolution and its socio-educational impact. Therefore, it is directionally logical, the development of this review article with the relationship, which gives the emerging technological-educational inclusion to, the updates of pedagogical sciences in the area of mathematics and technologies, in congruences with the development of cognitive skills of students and their contributions in the improvement of educational environments. For this reason, the objective of this systematic review research is to determine to what extent virtual environments help the development of students' mathematical competencies.
