Resumen

The teaching of social sciences in the 21st century demands the establishment of new curricular criteria, among which the conceptions of organizing the curriculum by competencies and abilities must be considered. On the other hand, thematic criteria must also be established to be considered for an adequate learning of the social sciences, starting from a process of scientific updating of knowledge. The didactic criteria that should be considered for a teaching-learning process of the social sciences in Peru in the 21st century, appropriate to the times and with collaborative and cooperative work criteria. Likewise, the criteria of virtual and remote work should be considered in order to complement academic training, based on new technological advances.
