Anxiety, family adaptability and academic performance in students of the specialty of Psychology - UNEEGV during the Covid-19 pandemic

Resumen
This study aimed to determine the relationship between anxiety and family adaptability with academic performance. For this purpose, a qualitative, descriptive, correlational study was carried out that consisted of the evaluation of a total of 101 students of the UNEEGV Psychology specialty during the Covid-19 pandemic. The students were evaluated with an anxiety scale according to state I trait and reliability levels of 79% and 93%, respectively, and a family adaptability measurement scale with reliability levels of 73% (measured through the Cronbach's alpha coefficient). The results show that there is no significant relationship between anxiety and family adaptability with academic performance, however, there is a significant relationship between trait anxiety and the leadership and decision-making dimension of family adaptability. There are differences in the results of anxiety according to sex and age, however, there are no differences in the results of family adaptability according to sex and age.
