Resumen

Huánuco department, with the purpose of determining the conflicts of use in the Cocheros basin. The methodology consisted of preparing thematic maps whose information facilitates obtaining the map of greater land use capacity, taking as a reference the regulation of greater land use capacity. The units of current use were established through the supervised classification with control points and their classification was according to the classification system of the International Geographical Union (IGU) suitable for the study area. The land use conflicts were established by superimposing the maps of C.U.M and U.AT, taking into account the three levels such as correct use, underuse and overuse. The greater land use capacity includes land suitable for: clean cultivation with low agrological quality and limited by soil (A3s) with 80.71 hectares, in forest production two classes were found, one of medium agrological quality and with limitations due to micro-relief and soil (F2es) with 26.32 hectares and another with low agrological quality and with limitations due to micro-relief and soil (F3es) with 262.44 hectares and protection lands (X) with 86.4 hectares.
