Resumen

This thesis proposes the design of a balanced organizational management model, based on the guidelines of ISO 26000 and the Six Sigma methodology, with the aim of optimizing University Social Responsibility (USR) processes at a private university in Peru. The research work originates from the observation that there is ineffective management of USR, given that there are problems in the design, development, and evaluation of social projects and there is little connection between institutional objectives and the reality of their impact on the community. Therefore, a quantitative, explanatory approach is analyzed and developed, with a quasi-experimental design of a population of 21 components of the USR area, using Likert scale questionnaires validated by Cronbach's alpha and SPSS software for data analysis. The results show that the integration of the ethical principles/sustainability principles of ISO 26000 and Six Sigma tools, especially the DMAIC cycle, contributes to improving efficiency, transparency, accountability, and stakeholder participation in the process.
