Resumen
The present research aimed to analyze the relationship between the regulations of the Integral Mining Formalization Registry (REINFO) and the level of formalization of small-scale miners in Peru during the year 2025. The study was conducted under a quantitative approach, basic type, with a non-experimental design, correlational level, and cross-sectional scope. The population and sample consisted of 70 small-scale miners registered in REINFO, to whom a structured questionnaire validated by expert judgment was applied. Inferential analysis was carried out using Spearman’s Rho coefficient, following normality testing. The results revealed a positive and statistically significant relationship between REINFO regulations and the formalization of small-scale miners (rs = 0.422; p < 0.05). Additionally, documentary compliance showed the strongest association with formalization (rs = 0.499; p < 0.05), followed by environmental and safety compliance (rs = 0.357; p < 0.05) and regulatory knowledge (rs = 0.258; p < 0.05). Descriptive findings supported these results, showing notable progress in regulatory understanding and administrative compliance, while persistent gaps remained in environmental, territorial, and tax formalization. It was concluded that REINFO regulations were significantly related to mining formalization; however, their effectiveness depended on administrative, institutional, and operational factors
